In compliance with Johns Hopkins HSE and the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the GRCF offers blood, urine and nasal swab processing and cryopreservation for samples collected from patients with active Covid-19 infections.

Blood Processing Services
Our facility is equipped to handle a variety of direct from patient processing needs. Most often, we receive requests for processing of blood and blood isolates (sera, plasma, lymphocytes / buffy coat).
Cryogenic Preservation, Storage and Distribution
Our CAP accredited storage is now structured to accommodate Covid-19+ cohort collections and the respective distributions.
DNA & RNA Processing
Whether from blood, swabs or tissues, our processing facility offers a variety of services for nucleic acid profiling.

IRB Approval
The GRCF requests a copy of your IRB approval letter with IRB number.
Informed Consent & Supporting Investigator Letter
The GRCF requests a unsigned Informed Consent document and a signed letter from the study leader stating all enrolled participants have consented.
Signed Processing & Storage Agreement
Completion of our BioBank & Cell Center Agreement.
