We can assist with most specimen processing needs, documentation, study initiation, storage, and shipping. Most importantly, we will work with your study coordinators to tailor our services to suit your needs.
We are conveniently located on the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Campus and offer 24/7 drop-off boxes for your clinical specimens.

Specimen Processing
Processing of blood or blood isolates, urine, saliva, nasal secretions, stool sampling or breast milk
Storage
Temperature-specific storage in our CAP-accredited BioBank with 24/7 monitoring on all freezers
Shipping
Priority overnight shipping to diagnostic laboratories. Shipping mechanisms to guarantee the integrity of the clinical collection
Documentation
Staff training, SOP generation, and document control as needed for your clinical trial

Monday – Thursday:
8:30 am to 6:00 pm
Friday: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Same Day Processing Cutoff:
Monday – Thursday: 3:30pm
Friday: 2:00pm
All clinical samples needing same day processing after these hours will be subject to additional fees.

After-Hours Drop Off
For your convenience, the GRCF Cell Center has an after hours drop off system for blood processing orders! Blood can be deposited in secure After Hours Drop Boxes or our 4 deg C fridge for processing at 8:30 am the following business day.
PLEASE NOTE: This system is only available to customers previously setup for blood processing. Please ask us about how to use this system for your future drop offs.
