Custom siRNA
Custom siRNAs can be used in cell culture experiments to silence genes. Horizon Discovery, IDT, MilliporeSigma and ThermoFisher all offer a variety of custom design options, modifications and purification possibilities. A few things to know
All orders are final. Specialized quotes from must be handled outside of the portal through contact with the local sales representative and the GRCF. Please email us with the details of what you would like to order.
IDT Account Creation
You can create an account on IDT’s website instantly, but you must use an username and password that is specific to the portal, even if you have been ordering from their standard web site. If you don’t, you will not receive the discounted pricing below, and you will be charged shipping. When placing your first order, you will see incorrect pricing and shipping charges, but your bill will be correct. NGS items cannot be ordered through the portal, but can be ordered via quotes.
MilliporeSigma Account Creation
To set up an account with MilliporeSigma, please email us with the information listed below. Account set up takes about 24 hours.

Horizon/Dharmacon Account Creation
Horizon/Dharmacon accounts can be created instantly. If you already have a Dharmacon direct account, you may use that account on the portal and do not need to set up a new account. In order to ensure correct routing and delivery of your order, please list building and room number and your PI name and email address in the “Order Notes” field.
Qiagen Account Creation
Create an account on the Qiagen website. Place all of your items in a shopping cart. Proceed to check out, and use the “transfer cart” option to send the cart to [email protected]. We will place the order for you. Note: only items not available on the CoreStore website should be ordered using this method.
ThermoFisher Account Creation
You must link a ThermoFisher.com account to our portal to place orders. To create a new account or link an existing account, download and follow these instructions.
