Introducing Nucleic Acids Technologies & Services: The New Fusion of DNA Services and Nucleic Acid Technologies Labs

‌The GRCF would like to congratulate Alejandra Gutierrez on her new position at the University of Maryland.  We appreciate her years of hard work and dedication directing the Nucleic Acid Technologies group and wish her the best of luck in all of her endeavors.

With Alejandra’s departure, we have decided to merge the Nucleic Acid Technologies group and the DNA Services group into a new group, the Nucleic Acid Technologies and Services group.  This group will be headed by Roxann Ashworth, and will continue to maintain spaces in both Blalock 1004 (Sanger sequencing, qPCR, dPCR, oligos and synthetic DNA products) and in PCTB G20 (RNAseq library prep, cell line authentication & mycoplasma testing, DNA isolation, sample quality checks, plating and normalization services).  Roxann’s primary office will move to PCTB G14.  We look forward to continuing to provide you with the high quality services you expect from the GRCF.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Roxann at 410-614-0702 or [email protected].
