The JHU SOM Core Showcase (Core Showcase) is an event designed to uniquely focus on the invaluable resources available to Hopkins researchers from our in-house Core Facilities. Today over 25 SOM Cores will be exhibiting and highlighting their services which include biostatistics, data analysis, genomics, imaging, microscopy, pharmacology and proteomics to name just a few. Additionally, several cores will give a twenty minute presentation on a variety of topics. The highlight of the event is the keynote address given by Antony Rosen, M.B.Ch.B., B.Sc., JHU SOM Vice Dean of Research, on recent headway made in the JHU Core community 11:30 a.m., Tilghman Auditorium.

The GRCF will exhibit and host a 20 minute seminar, “Overview of the Genetic Resources Core Facility – Assisting from Discovery to Application”, Melissa V. Olson, PH.D., Wednesday, September 20th, 2017, West Room of the Turner Concourse, 11:00 a.m. – 11:20 a.m. at the 2017 JHU SOM Core Showcase.
